Just trying to gauge how many people have actually played Dungeons & Dragons. I, myself, have only just started played last school semester. Sometimes it's a little frustrating, but there are definitely funny moments and plenty of stories to talk about afterward. For instance, one of our party members got his ear shot off by an arrow from another party member. This player's characters always seem to get into the path of death. And die. I think he's remade two or three characters during this semester alone. XD

I'm part of a D&D group right now. I'm actually DMing, although soon I hope I can get a character out. What edition are you playing? We're using 4th edition.

I played it back in High School, so a good five or so years ago now. It was good fun for a while there, especially with the right group of friends.

We used 4.0 last semester, but we switched to 3.5 this semester. I think we're all trying to figure out which one we like the best as far as character sheets and leveling and the like. Our DM is crazy. XD And, it's definitely the group of friends that makes it. Although, a group of people could probably pull together as really good friends after playing a couple of rounds, if you're not busy annoying the other players. Haha.
